IMPORTED JDM GOODNESS
On Sept. 24, 2022, I was “today years old” when I saw my first 1993 Honda Acty. These JDM cars have a huge following and once they’re over 25 years old they can be legally imported to the United States. Such is the case with this example, owned by Randy Robison.
He is a service director and a Honda Master Technician. When he found the truck, it began a1-year process to import it from Japan. It spent four months on a cargo ship and then a few days to clear customs.
It’s powered by a 660 cc 3-cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual transmission putting out 46 HP and “very little” torque. It rides on a 2” lift and is all wheel drive.
If you’d like your ride to be featured as a #carshowlife#rideoftheweek, send us your story and at least 6 photos to info@carshowlife.com.
